We maintain safe flight practices when operating UAVs. 30m from non-consenting people. We stay below 120m and don't fly at night or within 5.5km of an airport.
Drone maintenance is very important to us and we keep ours in top condition. We replace propellers every 100 hours (twice as often as the industry recommendation) as well as motors and batteries well before their recommended lifespans.
Safety of the public is always our first concern at Colourberry.
The drones we use feature sensors designed for indoor flight like sonar for maintaining altitude and a downward facing camera for optical flow which informs the drone of its lateral position, this way it can maintain a fixed height and position even without GPS due to being indoors.
This ability for indoor flight allows us to film indoors in ways that weren't possible even just a few years ago.
FILMING FROM THE SKY
Video production has never had the ability to place a camera anywhere like we can today. We can film in glorious 4K resolution up to 400 feet (120m) in the air with rock steady camera stabilisation.
We capture 4K pristine video on the ground and in the sky. From the tiniest macro shots of something millimeters in size right up to vast and wide landscapes hundreds of feet in the air, we have equipment to cover every situation.

Smooth and precise movements are now possible with todays flying camera technology essentially replacing the traditional camera crane for many projects. 3 axis gimbal stabilisation gives rock solid footage no matter what the movements of the drone are. 360° FOV and ability to look straight down.
